Hyundai is upgrading its popular vehicles in the Indian market. According to sources, the South Korean manufacturer has improved the features list on the Hyundai Verna sedan. The 2021 Hyundai Verna now becomes the only sedan car in the segment to come with Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The new features are available on the S+ and SX trim and prices start from INR 9.60 lakh ex-showroom and 10.98 lakh ex-showroom, respectively.
Hyundai Verna S+ and SX Variants
The Hyundai S+ and SX variants come with an 8-inch infotainment system. The Android Auto and Apple Carplay feature are available on all trims of the Verna except the base E variant. But while all trims come with a wired connection, the S+ and SX will now get the wireless connection feature. The top-of-the-line SX(O) does get an HD 8-inch AVN infotainment system with Hyundai BlueLink connected car tech. But, interestingly, the brand has not upgraded the more advanced system to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto feature and it still gets a wired connection.
Other than the new wireless connectivity upgrade, other features on the model remain unchanged. The Verna is the S variant features a manual air-conditioning system, cooled glovebox, USB charger, an Arkymys sound system, dual airbags and ABS. The SX trim features projector headlamps, with automatic function, alloy wheels, sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control etc.
Hyundai Verna S+ New Engine Option
The Hyundai Verna S+ variant is now available with the 1.5-litre petrol engine option. The trim was only available with a diesel engine before and Hyundai could have added the engine to meet the rise in demand for petrol powertrain. The engine option is also available on the S trim. But the S+ comes with 16-inch alloy wheels with a wider rubber patch.
Hyundai Creta Feature Changes
Hyundai has added a few features to certain variants of the Creta while deleting some features.
