Ducati has revealed a new variant of the entry-level Scrambler called the NightShift. The Ducati Scrambler Nightshift is priced from GBP 9,595 and comes with a dark theme with new flat track-inspired bodywork available in the new Aviator Grey colour and Euro5 emission compliance.
The Ducati Scrambler Nightshift features LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights with interchangeable aluminium covers, LED turn indicators, LED tail lamps, LCD instruments with gear and fuel level indications and interchangeable aluminium covers as well. The Scrambler Nightshift also features an under-seat storage compartment incorporated with a USB charging point. The NightShift model is also equipped with low set aluminium handlebars, a sporty front mudguard, a chopped off rear mudguard with dedicated turn indicator support, Nightshift special logo, cafe racer style bar-end mounted rearview mirrors, side flat track number plate etc.
Powering the Ducati Scrambler Nightshift is the Euro5 compliant 803cc air-cooled L-Twin motor with 2-valve per-cylinder Desmodromic distribution system and Electronic fuel injection that churns out 73 Hp of power and 66.2 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed transmission with hydraulically controlled slipper and self-servo wet multi-plate clutch.
In terms of the mechanical hardware, the Ducati Scrambler Nightshift edition features a tubular steel Trellis frame that rides on 41mm Kayaba upside-down front fork suspension with 150mm of front wheel travel, pre-load adjustable Kayaba rear shock with 150mm of wheel travel and 18-inch front, 17-inch rear spoke rims shod in dual-sport tyres. The stopping power comes from 330mm diameter single front disc with a 4-piston radial calliper and 245mm single disc with a single-piston floating calliper on the rear equipped with Bosch Cornering ABS as standard equipment.
Recently Ducati also introduced the Euro5 spec Scrambler 1100 ‘Dark PRO’ edition in the European market priced from GBP 12,490 in the United Kingdom. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 ‘Dark PRO’ features an exclusive Dark Stealth colour which is a combination of Matte Black and Anodised Aluminium.
