BMW has teased the 2021 M5 CS ahead of its market launch. The company has revealed key details about the new ‘CS’ model and also hinted that the new M5 CS will be a “true four seater” which indicates that the brand has some surprises in the second row. The brand has also revealed that the 2021 BMW M5 CS will be revealed this month.

The 2021 BMW M5 CS features new Gold Bronze elements on the radiator grille trim, Gold Bronze alloy wheels, BMW M5 CS exclusive Carbon Ceramic rotors with Red brake callipers, motorsport inspired Yellow headlamps, Carbon bucket seats from the BMW M3 and M4 etc. The brand also revealed that in the CS avatar the M5 has lost 70 kg of weight improving the power to weight ratio.

The 2021 BMW M5 CS will be powered by the same engine that does duty on the M5 Competition. The 2021 BMW M5 Competition is powered by a 4.4-litre M TwinPower Turbo technology V-8-cylinder engine that belts out 625 PS of power and 750 Nm of torque. But the M5 CS is said to deliver 635 PS of power. The power is transmitted via an eight-speed M Steptronic gearbox with Drivelogic and flap-controlled dual-branch exhaust system with M Sound Control button. With more power and less weight the M5 CS will outperform the M5 Competiton with ease.

The M5 Competition comes with full leather upholstery sports seats and the M5 CS is said to come with sportier Carbon Fibre seats, but in terms of equipment the M5 CS is likely to be similar to the M5 Competition and is expected to come with 12.3-inch central infotainment system integrated sport nad track mode, a multifunctional steering wheel, new M mode buttons on the central tunnel, digital colour instrumentation, M view heads-up display as well as other driver assistance systems. The M5 CS is also expected to come with adaptive air inlets, M5 CS badge on the grille, LED headlamp units with BMW LaserLight’s new Dynamic Laser Matrix Beam, motorsport inspired LED tube daytime running lights, L-shaped densely illuminated 3D design LED tail lamps, M Specific exhaust outlets etc.
