QJ Motor, the sister company of Benelli has launched the new 2021 QJ Motor Chase 600 in China. The motorcycle comes with an updated new fascia but the tank and tail remain similar to the 2020 QJ Motor SRK 600. The QJ Motor SRK 600 is also marketed at the Chase 600 in some Chinese markets. The 2021 QJ Motor Chase 600 is also likely to be sold in the European markets and India rebranded as the Benelli TNT 600.

Design & Styling

The 2020 model came with a low slung three-pot LED headlamp, inspired by the Kawasaki Z1000. But the new 2020 Chase 600 features a new rounded headlamp inspired by the MV Agusta Brutale. The mildly oval unit features stacked lights with a projector beam on top and a multi-faceted reflector unit on the bottom. The circular headlamp unit also comes with LED daytime running lights flanking the main beams.

The headlamp unit also features a shroud mounted with LED indicator lamps similar to the Leoncino 500. The motorcycle also features a fully digital colour TFT screen. The screen displays the gear position, speed, engine RPM, time, engine temperature and fuel level. The naked motorcycle features a chiselled fuel tank and scooped seats. The handlebar is straight and wide offering an ergonomic riding position. The Chase 600 also gets a sharp tail similar to the predecessor and LED tail lamps.

Engine Specifications

The QJ Motor Chase 600 comes with an in-line four-cylinder engine with 600cc displacement. The motor is capable of producing 82 PS of power and 55 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox and is capable of achieving a top speed of 210 kmph. The bike features a trellis frame that rides on KYB upside front fork and a mono-shock on the rear. The motorcycle comes with Brembo braking components for stopping power and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod in wide contact rubber.

Benelli  in India

Benelli discontinued almost the entire product range when India transitioned into BS6 emission norms. Now the brand already launched the Imperiale 400, Leoncino 500 and TRK 500 and TRX500X in the BS6 avatar. The brand is also expanding its sales and service network across the country. This indicates more launches which are also likely to include the Chase 600 rebranded as the TNT 600. If  Benelli prices the TNT 600 like before, it could become the most affordable in-line four-cylinder motorcycle in the country.
