2020 Tata Nexon compact-SUV facelift launched in India for INR 6.95 lakh

Tata Motors has launched the facelift version of the Nexon EV here in the Indian market. Be advised, this is the petrol and diesel powered Nexon facelift, while the Nexon EV will debut in a few days time. Nevertheless, the EV & the facelift versions will share most of the new updates. Pricing for the Tata Nexon facelift, which comes with BS6 compliant engines has gone up in the range of INR 22,000 – 56,000 depending on the variants one decides to buy.

Powering the BS6 compliant Nexon petrol is a 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbocharged Revotron motor producing 110 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT gearbox. The BS6 diesel Nexon comes with a 1.5L, 4-cylinder Revotorq motor producing 110 PS of power and 260 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT gearbox. The Nexon comes with Eco, City and Sport driving modes. The compact-SUV now comes with ABS with EBD and dual front airbags as standard along with cruise control for convenience. The Nexon also comes with traction control and ESP for added safety.

Changes to the Nexon facelift on the outside include new headlamps with projectors and LED DRLs, new fog lamp housing, new bumpers, new front grille, redesigned bonne, 16″ alloy wheels, black painted ORVMs, new LED tail lamps, new rear bumper with reflectors, sharkfin antenna with dual-tone roof, Ivory white X-factor applique and Nexon branding in the centre of the tailgate. Inside the Tata Nexon facelift, you not get a digital speedometer cluster, new flat bottom steering wheel, tri-arrow accents on the dashboard and seat fabric, cooled glovebox, dual tone interiors, etc. The 2020 Tata Nexon facelift also features ‘Xpress Cool’ function to quickly cool the cabin when parked under the sun, and in this scenario, the driver window rolls down and the AC fan speed is set to maximum with the lowest temperature.
