2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV bookings open

The current model of the Mercedes-Benz GLE is already sold out for 3 months. Hence, the German luxury car brand has announced that owing to the impressive demand, bookings are now open for the new-generation GLE SUV in India. This new SUV will be launched before the 2020 Auto Expo in India, and will be a rival to the likes of BMW X5 & Audi Q7. Mercedes-Benz claims that the new 2020 GLE has all it takes to redefine the luxury SUV segment. Mercedes-Benz has sold more than 13,000 units of the GLE SUV in India and it is one of the most popular luxury SUVs in our market.

The current model of the GLE is sold in a total of 4 variants which includes the GLE 250d, GLE 350d 4MATIC, GLE 400 4MATIC and Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe. The current engines range between a 4-cylinder 150 HP motor all the way up to a V6 producing 390 HP on the AMG variant. The fastest of the lot does a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 5.7 seconds.

The 2020 all-new Mercedes-Benz GLE will also be sold in standard SUV and Coupe body styles. This will be a 5-seater luxury SUV to go on sale and will come with an option of petrol and diesel engine options matched to automatic gearboxes along with an option of a sporty AMG variant. The new GLE will be launched with BS6 compliant engine options and the variants migth include the GLE 400d, GLE 300d and more…
