In-line with the festive season, Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Swift Limited. The Swift Limited has added accessories on the standard Swift, equipped with Gloss Black Body Kit, Aerodynamic Spoiler, Body Side Moulding, Door Visor, All-Black Garnish on Grill, Tail Lamp and Fog Lamp. The Swift Limited Edition is available across all variants at an additional cost of INR 24,990. Apart from the sporty exteriors, the brand also includes Sporty Seat Covers to complement the sporty instruments cluster and the flat-bottomed steering wheel.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift Limited comes with a new wing-shaped splitter on the front bumper, side skirts and rear body kit giving the Swift and low and sporty stance. The body kit is finished in gloss black adding to the all-black dominance theme. The all-black theme continues on to the fog lamp and tail lamp etc. Adding to the car’s style is the side body moulding finished in chrome and smoked effect door visors. The Swift Limited Edition’s sporty characteristic is completed with an aerodynamic spoiler mounted on the tailgate.
Other than the cosmetic updates the Swift Limited Edition remains unchanged on the inside. The hatchback is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre 4-cylinder 16-valve naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 83 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift comes with highlights such as projector headlamps, with LED daytime running lights, LED rear combination lamps, ORVM mounted indicators, multilayered dashboard with rounded air-con vents on the centre and trapezoidal vents on the sides, rounded instruments cluster, leather-wrapped flat-bottomed steering wheel, steering mounted controls, rotary air-con controls, centrally mounted 17.8 cm Touchscreen Smartplay Studio with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, etc.
In terms of safety, the Swift comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, front seatbelts with pre-tensioners and load limiters, seatbelt reminder and buzzer on both driver and co-driver, reverse parking sensors, over-speed warning, ISOFIX with child seat anchorage system, pedestrian protection compliance as standard.
