Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has announced that the brand has commenced pre-launch bookings for the upcoming new Honda Jazz in the Indian market. The 2020 new Honda Jazz features a mild facelift and gets new segment-first features along with a BS6 compliant powertrain available in both manual and CVT automatic transmission options along with new features on the exteriors as well as the interiors.
The 2020 new Honda Jazz facelift can now be pre-booked with an amount of INR 21,000 at all authorized Honda Car dealerships across the country. Alternatively, customers also have the option of pre-booking the new Jazz from the brand’s online digital sales channel ‘Honda from Home’ available on the official HCIL website and book the new Jazz at a nominal amount of INR 5,000.
The new 2020 facelift Honda Jazz comes with new stylish as sporty exterior features such as a new high gloss black grille with chrome accents, refreshed front and rear bumpers, an advanced LED package with new ‘Inline Shell’ LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, new LED fog lamps, signature rear LED wing light.
The new Honda Jazz facelift also features a segment-first ‘One-Touch Electric Sunroof’, Smart Entry and Push Button Start/Stop system in both Manual and CVT, Cruise control and the Honda Jazz is the only car in the segment which offered with a steering-wheel-mounted unique dual-mode “Paddle Shift” option for CVT variants.
The new Honda Jazz will be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and though the manufacturer has not yet revealed its technical specification at the moment the same engine in its BS6 compliant avatar is shared with the Honda Amaze and produces 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission.
In the Indian market, the Honda Jazz competes with premium hatchbacks such as the Tata Altroz, Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Toyota Glanza.
