2020 Honda Grazia launched at INR 73,336 with BS6 engine

Honda teased the new facelift Grazia with a new BS6 compliant engine only a week ago and now the brand has launched the BS6 Honda Grazia at the price of INR 73,336 ex-showroom, Delhi for the standard version. The 2020 BS6 Honda Grazia is available in two variants Standard and Deluxe along with four colour options – Mat Cyber Yellow, Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Siren Blue and Mat Axis Grey. 

In terms of styling, the new Honda Grazia BS6 features sharp and aggressive styling with a new split LED position lamp, a small flyscreen on the handlebar covers, boomerang side panels, wide ergonomic seats, 3D logo emblem on the side panel, Honda badging on the floor panel, black-alloy wheels, new chiselled tail lamp, jet-inspired rear winkers and split grab rail. 

The new Honda Grazia is highlighted by new features such as a new LED DC headlamp, new multi-function switch, new integrated engine start/stop switch, Integrated headlamp beam & passing switch, Side Stand indicator with engine-cut Off and a new Intelligent Instrument Display with blue backlit, 3-step ECO indicator, a speedometer, a multi-information display which shows the fuel, odometer, time, range, service due etc.

The BS6 Honda Grazia is powered by a 125cc air-fan-cooled single-cylinder, fuel-injected PGM-FI HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine with Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) that produces 8.1 Hp of power and 10.1 Nm of torque matched to a CVT automatic. The PGM-FI system features 6 intelligent sensors – Engine oil temperature sensor, Engine Speed sensor, Oxygen sensor, Air pressure sensor, Air temperature sensor, Throttle Position Sensor which relay the data through a control unit that injects the right amount of fuel through constant feedback.

The new generation engine comes with new features such as an ACG Starter which starts the scooter using the same AC generator used to generate current and charge the battery while riding, eliminating the need of a conventional starter. The engine also features new mechanical features such as a decompression valve that keeps the exhaust valve slightly open at the beginning of the compression stroke which enables the engine to start with less effort. The second mechanical feature is the Swing Back that rotates the crank slightly in the opposite direction which allows the piston to take a ‘running start’, making it easier to start the engine. 

Honda is also offering a special 6-year warranty with 3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty) on the BS6 Honda Grazia 125.
