Ford has launched the new Ford Freestyle Flair at an introductory price of INR 7.69 lakh ex-showroom for petrol & INR 8.79 lakh ex-showroom for the diesel. The Ford Freestyle Flair is positioned as the top-of-the-line variant of the Ford Freestyle. The Ford Freestyle Flair comes with red & black sporty accents in its styling theme.
In terms of styling, the crossover utility vehicle (CUV) comes with a mesh Ford grille, black inserts in the fog light area, black bumper and wheel arch cladding, Red skid plates, Black roof with Red roof rails, Red ORVMs, Black alloy wheels and Black, Grey and Red graphics on the doors.
The Red & Black theme continues on the inside as well and the Freestyle Flair comes with sporty Black & Grey seats with Red accents on the door pads, a specially designed Red Flair badge on the seats, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with embedded satellite navigation, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, reverse parking camera, remote central locking, automatic air-conditioner, Jio Saavn music app integration etc.
The Ford Freestyle Flair is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre three-cylinder Ti-VCT petrol engine that produces 96 PS of power and 120 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Another engine on offer is the BS6 compliant 1.5l TDCi diesel engine that generates 100 PS power and 215 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The Ford Freestyle Flair also features the FordPass a factory-fitted cloud-connectivity feature that performs several vehicle operations – such as check vehicle health, locate the vehicle, know remaining fuel levels & distance to empty in real-time via the FordPass App. The FordPass is available across all BS6 compliant variants.
The Freestyle also features such as six airbags, ABS, first-in-class intelligent Active Rollover Prevention (ARP), a technology that works with Electronic Stability Control and applies brakes on relevant wheels to decrease engine torque to help prevent any potential rollover situations.
The new Ford Freestyle Flair will be available in three colours – White Gold, Diamond White and Smoke Grey. The Freestyle Flair is can be booked through the brand’s online web portal which is an extension of the brand’s Dial-A-Ford initiative that provides customers with a host of services via the brand’s toll-free number.
