Isuzu Motors India has launched the D-Max Regular Cab and D-Max S-Cab in the BS6 avatar in the Indian market at the starting at INR 7.84 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai for the S-Max Cab Chassis, INR 8.29 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai for the D-Max 1240kg and the D-Max Super Strong 1710kg is priced at INR 8.39 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. The Isuzu D-Max S-Cab standard is priced starting INR 9.82 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai and the D-Max S-Cab High-Ride trim is priced at INR 10.07 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai.
The Isuzu D-Max range is powered by a 4JA1 2.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine with variable geometry turbocharger that produces 78 Hp of power and 176 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The new BS6 compliant engine conforms to the stricter emission standards by employing After Treatment Devices such as LNT (Lean NOx Trap), DPD (Diesel Particular Diffuser) and P-SCR (Passive Selective Catalyst Reduction) and the D-Max Regular Cab and S-Cab are the only vehicles in the segment with an electronically controlled EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system.
The D-Max Standard with 1240 kg payload capacity measures 5375mm in length, 1860mm in width and 1800mm in height. The D-Max Super Strong sits 30mm higher than the standard and comes with a 1710 kg of payload capacity. Both the Standard and the Super Stron come with the same 3095mm of wheelbase and 2440mm x 1725mm x 510mm cargo deck size and feature a driver + 1 seating capacity. The D-Max features comfort and convenience features such as power steering with tilt adjustment, optional air conditioner, heater, adjustable driver and passenger seat, fabric seat cover, moulded roof lining, a new generation digital MID with gear shift indicator, multiple storage compartments etc.
The D-Max S-Cab measures 5190mm of length, 1775mm of width, 1690mm of height on the Standard Ride and 5190mm of length, 1860mm of width and 1780mm of height on the High Ride option. Both come with a 3095mm of wheelbase and 1485mm x 1530mm x 465mm of the cargo bay with a payload capacity of 1100 kg and 1055 kg, respectively. The D-Max S-Cab has the seating capacity of Driver + 4.
The D-Max Regular and D-Max S-Cab will be available in Splash White and Titanium Silver colours along with the all-new Galena Grey colour. The prices on the entire D-Max range are introductory for the upcoming festive season (on limited stock).
