BMW Motorrad has also announced that customers can get their loans pre-approved before the launch at an attractive interest rate.

The news arrives only a couple weeks after the brand opened pre-bookings on the BS6 compliant 2020 facelift BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS. The pre-bookings can be made at all BMW Motorrad India dealerships as well as the brand’s official website. The ex-showroom prices of the new G 310 R and G 310 GS will be announced at the launch.

For 2020, both the BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS feature updates to the engine as well as a few cosmetic updates. According to the official teaser, that was released in the recent past, both the G 310 R and the G 310 GS are expected to come with new LED headlamp units. Earlier spy pictures have also revealed that subtle changes to the headlamp shrouds and the bodywork have also been made.

Apart from this, both the roadster and the adventure tourer are expected to remain unchanged, at least mechanically. But it is being speculated that the brand is also likely to update the LCD digital instruments cluster. The motorcycles are also being speculated to get a slipper assist clutch, this time around.

Powering the G 310 R and the G 310 GS is a 313cc, single-cylinder, reverse-inclined, liquid-cooled, four valves, fuel-injected DOHC powertrain that produces 34 HP of power and 28 Nm of torque on the outgoing BS4 model matched to a 6-speed gearbox with a mechanically operated wet clutch. The engine is likely to get an upgraded closed-loop 3-way catalytic converter system to achieve BS6/Euro5 conformity. The brand in the earlier teaser also boasts that the newly updated powertrain is “Refined” than before.
