The X7 SAV also gets the aerodynamically optimised bodywork elements of the M sports package in the Dark Edition along with exclusive 22-inch M light-alloy wheels in V-spoke design with a Jet Black matt finish.

On the Inside, the BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition is available in either six or seven seat options with electrically adjustable driver and passenger seats with memory function and feature the BMW Individual Merino full leather upholstery in the Dark Shadow Edition specific two-tone variant Night Blue/Black with contrasting seams and a Night Blue with Alcantara roof liner. The theme continues on the dashboard fascia with Nappa leather in Night Blue on the top part of the instruments panel and armrests along with Black Merino leather on the lower sections. Fineline Black with aluminium inlays on the interior trim and Piano Black finish on the centre console.
