2020 BMW G 310 R & G 310 GS Photo Gallery – BS6 motorcycles now launched

BMW Motorrad India has launched the new 2020 BMW G 310 R in the Indian market at the price of INR 2.45 lakh ex-showroom, India. The BMW G 310 R was first showcased back in 2015 and sales on the motorcycle began from July 2018.  

In the Indian market, BMW Motorrad retails the BMW R 1250 R, the F 900 R and the newly launched G 310 R. The easy to handle Roadster G 310 R is the first-ever BMW motorcycle that is not manufactured in Europe. The Roadster is assembled at the cooperation partner, TVS Motor Company’s Hosur production facility in India. For 2020, the new G 310 R has been upgraded with a new BS6/Euro5 compliant 313cc reverse-inclined single-cylinder engine with an assist/slipper clutch and throttle-by-wire technology. The motorcycle also gets upgrades such as 4-step adjustable clutch and front brake levers and new paint themes like Cosmic Black, Polar White and ‘Style Sport’ in Limestone Metallic at an additional INR 10,000 on ex-showroom price. 

Alongside the G 310 R, BMW Motorrad also launched the G 310 GS in the Indian market at the price of INR 2.85 lakh ex-showroom. The G 310 GS is also affectionately known as the baby GS owing to its design and styling that draws its inspiration from the big daddy R 1250 GS. In the Adventure segment, BMW Motorrad India retails the BMW R 1250 GS, R 1250 GS Adventure, F 900 XR, S 1000 XR and the newly launched G 310 GS. Like the G 310 R Roadster, the G 310 GS also comes with a new BS6/Euro5 compliant single-cylinder reverse-inclined powertrain upgraded with a self-reinforcing assist/slipper clutch and throttle-by-wire technology. For 2020, the BMW G 310 GS comes in new colours – Polar White, ‘40 years of GS’ Edition in Cosmic Black and ‘Style Rallye’ in Kyanite blue Metallic at an additional price of INR 6,000 on ex-showroom price for the ‘Style Rallye’ and ‘40 years of GS’ Edition. The 40 Years of GS paint theme commemorates the brand’s 40 years of off-road adventure.
