TVS has updated their flagship motorcycle, the Apache RR 310. This full faired motorcycle, which is also a badge engineered sibling of the BMW Motorrad G 310 GS & G 310 R has now received mechanical updates. The 2019 TVS Apache RR 310 has been given a Race Tuned (RT) Slipper Clutch. The bike has been priced at INR 2.27 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi and cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the first customer of this sportsbike.
TVS claims that the Apache RR 310 with this new slipper clutch will benefit from smoother gear shifts. Also, the left hand fatigue will be reduced thanks to a lighter feel of the clutch. The slipper assist clutch will help the Apache RR 310 stay stable during high speed downshifts while approaching corners. The wheel hop and chain whip will be drastically reduced, allowing the rider to have confidence on the 2019 Apache RR 310.
TVS claims that existing owners of the Apache RR 310 can also retrofit this Race Tuner Slipper Clutch on their motorcycles at dealer level.
Apart from this mechanical update, the TVS Apache RR 310 for 2019 comes with a new Phantom Black paint scheme with contrast decals between the headlamp and on the rear seat panel.
The TVS Apache RR 310 comes with a reverse inclined, DOHC, liquid-cooled with oil-cooling technology engine. This 312.2cc engine produces 34 PS of power and 27.3 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox.
