Tata Motors might have slightly delayed the launch of the Altroz premium hatchback in the Indian market, but a new set of images have leaked on the internet hinting that the bookings will open soon. The Tata Altroz when launched will rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Honda Jazz, Hyundai Elite i20 and Volkswagen Polo.

The highlight of the new Tata Altroz is going to be the space that it will offer. We have come to expect the best cabin space from Tata cars in every segment, and they never disappoint. So the Altroz is expected have the best headroom, knee room and shoulder room for rear seat occupants as per segment standards.

The leaked interior images of the Tata Altroz reveal a very nicely layered dashboard design. The Altroz will have a mix of beige + black along with satin / silver finish on the dashboard. The Altroz will also feature a touchscreen infotainment popping out of the dashboard and the buttons for this will be placed under the AC vents. The Altroz also reveals to get a fully-automatic climate control system.

One can also notice a flat bottom steering wheel with an all new design and buttons for cruise control and infotainment on the steering along with the same silver / stain finish. The steering wheel on the top trims is expected to be leather wrapped. Just like the Harrier, the Altroz will get a digital + analogue speedo console which will be a coloured display with a big MID in between. The Tata Altroz will also get true keyless entry along with a engine start / stop button.

What many might miss noticing, is that the Tata Altroz is expected to get cabin ambient lights on the floor console.

Apart from this, we already know the exterior highlights. The Altroz might get 16″ alloy wheels, LED projector headlamps, LED tail lamps, dual tone paint options, ORVMs with LED turn indicators, very subtle dose og chrome only expected on the grille, antenna mounted over the front windscreen and the likes…

The Tata Altroz is expected to be priced competitively, around INR 6-9 lakh ex-showroom.
