Written by Nizam Shaikh

The MY 2019 update from the Suzuki Intruder in India has recently rolled out. Priced at INR 1,08,162 ex-showroom, Delhi this updated Intruder comes in with a new Metallic Matte Titanium Silver colour.

The Suzuki Intruder resembles its big brother, the Suzuki M800 and the M1800 Intruder and is one of the very few cruisers available in the Indian market. It has big bold design features like a tear drop headlight with a LED tail light, a large fuel tank, a swooping aerodynamic tail section, ergonomic handle bars and relaxed foot pegs, LCD instrument panel, large double-barrel exhausts and 17-inch alloy wheels with a 140 section rear and a 100 section front tyre.

As per the hardware on the engine, there are no changes, it is still powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor that produces a maximum power output of 14.5 HP and a peak torque of 14 Nm coupled to a 5-speed gearbox.

The 2019 variant however has a few ergonomic design changes like a redesigned brake pedal and a new gear-shift lever. Oher than this everything remains the same.

The Suzuki intruder rivals the likes of the Bajaj Avenger series and the UM Renegade.
