Honda has officially announced that the CBR650R will be launched in India very soon. This bike, the CBR650R is nothing but a heavily reworked version of the outgoing CBR650F motorcycle which was already on sale in India. The CBR650R was first showcased at the EICMA show in Milan, and bookings are now open in India for INR 15,000.
Honda has revealed that the new 2019 CBR650R will be priced under INR 8 lakh ex-showroom. However, the bike will surely be close to INR 9 lakh on-road, or may be more…
This middle-weight sports tourer from Honda is a rival to the Kawasaki Ninja 650, but the CBR650R has a 4-cylinder engine which gives it more refinement, better exhaust sound, comes with more equipment for 2019, and also, will ask for more money than the Kawasaki.
With the Fireblade inspired body panels, the new 2019 CBR650R looks sharper than ever. It will come with new features such as LED headlamps, full digital LCD speedo console, clip-on handlebars with more aggressive positioning, radial-mount calipers with dual-channel ABS, slipper clutch, 41mm Showa USD front fork, rear monoshock, traction control, and an all-new front fairing.
The CBR650R comes with a 649cc, liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder, DOHC, 16-valve motor producing 98 BHP of power @ 12000 RPM. This power output is far more superior than competition. Also, the CBR650R is now 6 kg lighter than the old motorcycle.
Honda will launch the 2019 CBR650R in Grand Prix Red & Gunpowder Black Metallic colours.
