200 Force Trax Toofan handed to Revenue & Forest Department of Maharashtra

Force Motors donates 200 Trax Toofan to the Revenue and Forest Department of Maharashtra. This will help the Maharashtra government to speed up the vaccination process in rural areas. These Trax Toofan will ferry villagers staying in remote locations in and around Nagpur and Amravati and bring them to the nearest healthcare centre. One of the main reasons why Trax Toofan was chosen for this service is its seating capacity. A total of 11 passengers can sit together, excluding the driver.

Trax Toofan Specification

The new Trax Toofan gets a host of new additions, including the interiors. To enable a smooth and comfortable ride, Force Motors has made use of a new high strength C-in-C chassis. And to further enhance the ride quality, Force is using a new parabolic leaf spring suspension. The power unit is a Mercedes derived 2.6-litre four-cylinder common-rail diesel motor that makes 90 HP of power and 250 Nm of torque.

There’s only one gearbox option available, i.e. 5-speed manual. The braking setup consists of disks at the front and drums at the rear. As per government mandate, the Toofan gets ABS with EBD, which enhances the safety significantly. Fuel capacity of 65 litres is more than enough for long-distance travel. For the peace of mind and hassle ownership experience, Force Motors also provides 3 years or 3 lakh kilometre (whichever is earlier) warranty with 6 free services.

When ambulances were in much demand during the pandemic, Force Motors supplied 1,000 new ambulances to support the country’s health care infrastructure. Based on the Force Traveller, these ambulances are of three types, Type B, Type C and Type D. These ambulances were instrumental in extending the health care support to cities and remote areas as well. Force Motors had reported that its sales figure grew by close to 181 per cent in the April to July period. The maximum sales were for vehicles in public service in the form of ambulances and emergency vehicles.
