Thar Roxx was launched on August 14 and following its unveiling, it has significantly boosted monthly dispatches, which indicates how it has raised Thar’s demand. Mahindra shipped a total of 8,843 units of Thar SUVs to its dealers in September, out of which 3,911 units were of 3-door Thar and 4,932 units of 5-door Thar Roxx, according to SIAM data. In September 2024, Mahindra first exceeded the 50,000 unit monthly milestone with 51,062 units, and then achieved a new monthly sales in October with 54,504 units. The brand has increased its manufacturing capacity for the new Thar Roxx because of the high demand for the model. With the Thar and Thar Roxx combined, Mahindra now produces 6,500 units per month, with the target to increase that number to 9,500 units. This shows that Mahindra has set a new monthly high for two consecutive months.
