Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Skoda India is expanding its network across the country at a rapid pace. The carmaker mentioned that they now have over 205 customer touchpoints across the country. Back in December 2021, the count was just 175 touchpoints. With the launch of the India 2.0 initiative, Skoda-VW has also become much more customer-centric. Thus, with 205+ touch points as of today, the rise has been a healthy 19 per cent. These 205+ touchpoints also make Skoda accessible across 123 cities in the country.

Not just mere numbers, showrooms are service centres that are now much more advanced and modern with a lot more digitalisation. Skoda is now aiming to hit 250 touchpoints by the end of 2022. The carmaker will continue expanding rapidly with plans for about 10+ touchpoints in each zone across India. To attract a wide range of audiences, Skoda is also adding a host of digital services to its showrooms. As per the current industry standards, wherein everything is going online, Skoda is also incorporating innovative services into its offerings.

Upcoming Centres In The Plans

With the growing demand, Skoda is fully prepared to penetrate important market clusters covering metro and non-metro centres. Skoda will open its first touchpoints in Nagaland at Dimapur and also at Dibrugarh in Assam. The centres in the plan include regions like Gandhidham and Morbi – Gujarat, Tirur – Kerala, Amritsar – Punjab, Ambala – Haryana, Pollachi – Tamil Nadu, Warangal – Telangana, and Haldwani – Uttarakhand. In 2022, ŠKODA has added touchpoints in Bareilly, Meerut, Moradabad and Prayagraj – Uttar Pradesh, Bilaspur – Chhattisgarh, Dhanbad – Jharkhand, Karimnagar – Telangana, and many more across states and regions.

Other Updates

Skoda India is doing it all to mitigate the ongoing shortage in the supply of semiconductors. The carmaker is reshuffling the features to make the most of the available semiconductor chips. This will help Skoda to keep up with the demand and, at the same time, also improve the customer delivery date.
