One of India’s renowned electric two-wheeler companies, Hero Electric, has announced its partnership with Alt Mobility to lease its EVs. Both companies will work together to fulfil the demands of the logistics markets by adhering to aggregators and fleet operators. As India’s first leasing platform for EVs, Alt Mobility aims to deploy 10,000 Hero Nyx electric two-wheelers by 2023.

Partnership Benefits

Hero Electric states that the last-mile delivery segment in India is growing at an unprecedented pace that promotes green mobility. By creating an appropriate section for green mobility, the segment helps lower emissions thanks to the Indian Government’s push for EVs. Hero Electric has been busy converting its delivery-based two-wheelers to electric by switching through multiple B2B Partnerships across the country. The brand will continue to expand its EV ecosystem by collaborating with companies to attain its ‘Zero Emission’ mission.

Additionally, the changing market scenario and increased preference for EVs has also enabled Hero Electric to adopt more business opportunities. For its B2B customers, Hero Electric aims to provide 360-degree solutions by establishing a strong network presence across India. Meanwhile, Alt Mobility states that it has connected its fleet with intelligent sensors and a technology platform for tracking. This allows them to monitor their vehicles for their partners, manage trips, conduct health and diagnostics and provide service alerts.

The company’s technology-enabled platform also enables paperless onboarding of partners, vehicle management, and access to its charging and parking networks. Alt Mobility aims to provide complete ecosystem-based, EV services for faster EV adoption and convert 35% of its B2B sales. Within the next four years, both companies aim to provide seamless delivery experiences for their consumers and maximize EV transition. Alt Mobility currently sports 200+ EVs in Delhi NCR and plans to produce 1,00,000 EVs by 2024.
