TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has crossed the 1 lakh sales milestone in 6 months since launch. Positioned as a premium commuter with punchy performance, this bike rivals the likes of Suzuki Gixxer, Honda Hornet, Yamaha FZ-S and the likes. TVS launched the Apache RTR 160 4V in March 2018.
TVS claims that this bike has been developed with the base from a Group B RTR 165 racing motorcycle from the INMRC series. And that shows, in the performance department.
This bike is powered by a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, EFI motor producing 16.8 PS of power & 14.8 Nm of torque (16.5 PS power & 14.8 Nm torque with carb variant) matched to a 5-speed gearbox. Both the Carburetor and EFI variants are on sale. TVS claims that the bike can sprint from 0-60 kmph in 4.73 seconds and has a top speed of 114 kmph.
