UM Motorcycles launches Renegade Duty at Auto Expo 2018 for INR 1.10 lakh

At the ongoing Indian Auto Expo 2018, UM Motorcycles have introduced a new entry level motorcycle – the Renegade Duty. This bike will be available in two variants – Renegade Duty S & Renegade Duty Ace; and has been priced at INR 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The Renegade Duty S & Renegade Duty Ace is more of a rival to the Bajaj Avenger 220 series.

Powering the Renegade Duty S & Renegade Duty Ace is a 223cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor matched to a 5-speed gearbox and producing 17 PS of power @ 8000 RPM and 17 Nm of torque @ 5000 RPM. The bike weighs 142 & 140 kg respectively and is much smaller in scale compared to the elder sibling, Renegade Commando.

The UM Renegade Duty S & Renegade Duty Ace will be available in showrooms from July 2018 onwards.

In terms of features, the Renegade Duty S & Ace come with 360-degree visibility thanks LED lights, alloy wheels, front disc brake, digital + analogue speedo console, gear position indicator, bar-end mounted rear view mirrors & tan seats for the Renegade Duty Ace, and LED tail lamp. Suspension duty is performed by a 41mm telescopic front fork and twin hydraulic shock absorbers at the back.

The UM Renegade Duty S & Renegade Duty Ace come with a 10L fuel tank and have a ground clearance of 180mm. Both models even have the same wheelbase of 1360mm.
