Tata Motors reveals EVision sedan concept

Written by Parichay Malvankar

If you thought the H5x & 45x were the only concepts Tata Motors had in store for 2018, here’s the surprise. At the Geneva Motor Show, Tata has showcased the EVision sedan concept which is an attempt to showcase what a full size sedan from the brand could look like in the future. Although this was an electric car concept, it will be very interesting if Tata Motors decides to bring this design language in the C2 sedan segment to rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz & Honda City.

The concept, or rather, the design language looks way better than any of the sedans Tata Motors has ever produced. The concept reveals sleek LED headlamp & tail lamps, beige interiors with wooden trim, touchscreen infotainment screens, dual tone alloy wheels, generous use of chrome, 3-spoke flat bottom steering wheel, glass roof, and more such concept worthy stuff.

This new Tata EVision is also based on the new OMEGA architecture.

While the electric motor details are still not clear, it is said that the EVision will have a max speed of 200 kmph. But we would not be interested in this electric stuff at the moment anyway.

Tata Motors, please bring such styling in the sedan segment. You need it, especially after the Manza is gone and there is an empty slot available in your showrooms.
