Tata Motors has launched a 15-seater version of the Winger MPV in India positioned for the commercial segment. Tata believes that this Winger 15S variant will do well in the tour & travel segment and will be available in Maharashtra for now across all 23 dealers.

The Tata Winger 15S has been priced at INR 12.05 lakh ex-showroom.

The Tata Winger 15S comes with beige and brow interior colour theme, reclining seats, individual AC bents, each row getting a USB charging point and new body decals. Tata claims to have worked on the NVH levels of the Winger 15S. For better comfort, the Winger makes use of independent front suspension with anti-roll bars and a hydraulic rear shock absorber.

Powering the Winger 15S is the tried and tested 2.2L DiCOR diesel engine producing 100 HP of power and 190 Nm of torque matched with a manual gearbox. The Winger 15S rides on larger 15″ wheels which have also resulted in an increased ground clearance now rated at 180mm.

With a internal cabin height of 1900mm, the Winger 15S is also comfortable for in-cabin passenger movement.
