Tata Harrier bookings open for INR 30,000, but launch in 2019

A bit too early some might say? While Tata Motors is all set to launch the Harrier SUV in early 2019, the brand has already started accepting bookings for the same. The Harrier will be a 5-seater SUV rival to the likes of Hyundai Creta & Jeep Compass. Bookings are now open at all Tata showrooms for INR 30,000.

The Harrier very proudly boasts that it has its architecture derived from the Land Rover D8, based on which over 1 million vehicles had been sold worldwide. The Harrier, which we first saw as the H5X concept will be a premium product, and could become the new flagship model for the brand till its 7-seater sibling makes it to showrooms.

The Harrier will be a 5-seater monocoque SUV powered by a 2.0L Kryotec diesel engine, which is sourced from the Jeep Compass. The Harrier will also be the first car sporting Tata Motors’ Impact 2.0 Design language, and we must agree, that it does look good. The Harrier will come with class leading features in terms of technology and comfort convenience looking at their recent launches.

The Harrier has been endurance tested for over 2.2 million kms across India.
