Skoda will introduce the next generation Superb sedan in India on 23rd February, 2016.
The new generation Superb is longer, wider, taller & more luxurious than before. It is also more feature rich but still manages to be 75 kg lighter than its predecessor. Based on the MQB platform, the new Superb will rival the likes of Toyota Camry, Hyundai Sonata & the upcoming Honda Accord and Volkswagen Passat.
Powering the new Superb will be a 160 BHP, 2.0L diesel motor and a 178 BHP, 1.8L petrol motor. Both engines will be matched to a dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs. 25 – 30 lakh.
In terms of design, the new Superb will look like a larger and more evolved version of the Octavia.
