Sitting on top of Renault India’s current portfolio, the Captur has been launched at introductory prices starting from INR 9.99 lakh. This new crossover will be a premium offering, and slots in above the Renault Duster.

Powering the Captur petrol is a 1.5L motor producing 106 PS of power and 142 Nm of torque. The diesel version is powered by the 1.5L, K9K diesel engine which produces 110 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque.
There was quite a misleading campaign which Renault tried to push to the Indian audience ahead of its launch, highlighting global success. However, the Indian Captur is way different, and none of that would actually hold true.
Based on the Duster B0 platform, the Renault Captur measures 4329 mm in length, 1813 mm in width, 1613 mm in height, 2673 mm in wheelbase and has a ground clearance of 210 mm.
Safety features include ABS, EBD, BA, dual front airbags.
Other equipment on the Captur includes LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, dynamic turn indicators, keyless entry, 17″ alloy wheels, 7″ touchscreen infotainment, LED lighting inside, leather seats, etc.
