New Honda Brio could look likes this, based on Small RS Concept

Written by Parichay Malvankar

At the Indonesia International Motor Show 2018, Honda has showcased a new small car. Called the Small RS Concept, this hatchback is giving us a preview of what the new-generation Brio could look like. What was showcased was a sporty hatchback with a large rear spoiler, sport bumpers, snazzy wheels, etc. But what we see beneath all that jazz, is something we like.

The new Brio is due for a model change, and since a long time. The Amaze in its new generation Avatar is launching soon, and hence, a new Brio will follow suit. From what we see in this new concept, the Small RS Concept does have a hint of the new generation Amaze to it, from the front end. Look at the headlamp & front grille especially.

The new Brio, based on this concept, will surely be a bigger car. Also, it will ditch the all-glass tailgate for a conventional unit.

Powering the new Brio will be the same 1.2L i-Vtec petrol motor, but we are not sure if the Brio will get a diesel motor.

Honda hasn’t revealed any plans of killing this current Brio model and bringing out a new generation model in India anytime soon. Honda doesn’t really have a budget hatchback on sale which will drive in sales numbers as of now. The Jazz also cannot really be called a popular product as competition is selling in much higher numbers.

Would you like a new budget car from Honda? Would you buy a new Brio if it looked like this?
