Kia has announced that the booking of the new Sonet will open from tonight (20 December 2023, midnight). On 14th December 2023 the compact SUV the 2024 Kia Sonet premiered globally from India. Now, Kia is also offering its existing customers an opportunity to jump the queue and avail priority delivery for the new Sonet.
Existing Kia customers can get priority booking and delivery using Kia K-Codes. However, this is not limited to Kia customers, but Shifting-Gears viewers can also get the K-Codes to book the Sonet and get priority. More details on the K-Codes in the link at the end of this article.
It is important to note that K-Codes are only available for booking the Sonet between 20th December 12 am to 11:59 pm.
2024 Kia Sonet – What’s New?
The new Sonet comes with changes to its exteriors as well as equipment. The SUV gets a new fascia with Crown Jewel LED headlamps and Star Map DRLs. The tail lamps also come with a connected LED and new Star Map design. The Tiger Nose grille also gets a new look along with both bumpers, bonnet and tailgate.
On the inside, Kia is offering a new dashboard with twin 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and driver instruments. The car also comes with Bose premium sound system and LED Ambient Sound Lighting. Interiors also feature 5 interior colour options including a new All Black colour with premium Brown inserts.
Safety features now includes a new Level 1 ADAS with 10 features. The car also comes with 15 other safety features as standard including 6 airbags. In total, the new Kia Sonet comes with 25 safety features. Top end variants also gets a 360 Degree Camera with Blind View Monitor in Cluster and more.
Engine options include an 82 PS/115 Nm 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine and 118PS/172 Nm 1-litre turbo-petrol motor. The SUV also comes with 114PS/250 Nm 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT.
2024 Kia Sonet – Deliveries
Kia is scheduling deliveries for the new Sonet in January 2024, except for the Diesel manual transmission variants. The diesel manual Sonet deliveries are set to begin from February 2024.
