MY24 Kawasaki Z650 RS launched in India at INR 6.99 Lakh

Kawasaki has launched the 2024 Z650 RS in the Indian market at the price of INR 6.99 lakh ex-showroom. The MY24 Kawasaki Z650 RS comes with Ebony/Metallic Matte Carbon Grey colour. For 2024, the brand is offering only one colour with the 2024 Z650 RS. Upon launch, the bike was available with the Metallic Moondust Grey and Candy Emerald Green colour ways as well. Apart for the new colour and price, the Kawasaki Z650 RS remains mechanically unchanged. 

2024 Kawasaki Z650 RS – Technical Specifications

Powering the Kawasaki Z650 RS is a 649cc parallel-2-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 68 PS of power and 64 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox and an all new 2-Mode KTRC (Kawasaki TRaction Control).

The Kawasaki Z650 RS comes with a 1,405 mm, 125 mm of ground clearance, and seat height of 800mm. The bike weighs 192 kgs at the kerb and gets a 12-litre fuel tank. The Z650 RS gets a tubular diamond frame with telescopic front suspension and a monoshock on the rear with 125mm and 130mm wheel travel respectively.

For braking duties the bike features 272mm twin-discs with hydraulic brakes on the front and a 186mm single disc with a single piston calliper on the rear. The motorcycle comes with 17-inch alloy wheels with a spoke like design shod in 120/70 front and 160/60 rear W rated tyres.

2024 Kawasaki Z650 RS – Features

The 2024 Kawasaki Z650 RS comes with an all-new traction control system with two modes. The motorcycle also comes with an analogue-style speedometer and tachometer. The dials on the instruments cluster also get a multi-functional LCD screen between them offering modern functionality with retro design. The Z650 RS also gets flat spokes designed alloy wheels designed using the brand’s advanced analysis technology. The alloy wheels look like classic wire-spoked wheels and are similar to the ones on the Kawasaki Z900RS.
