Mercedes-Benz launches S63 AMG Coupe for INR 2.55 crore

Mercedes-Benz has launched their 7th product for 2018, and this time, it is the S63 AMG Coupe which has made it to the Indian shores. This new S63 AMG Coupe has been priced at INR 2.55 crore ex-showroom, and will be available across all Mercedes-Benz dealerships starting today.

Let’s talk about the heart first, powering the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe is a 4.0L, V8, Bi-Turbo petrol engine with cylinder deactivation technology producing 603 HP of power between 5500 – 6000 RPM and 900 Nm of torque between 2750 – 4500 RPM matched to an AMG Speedshift MCT 9G automatic transmission with paddle shift. This car comes with the AMG Drivers package as standard offering a top speed of 300 kmph and a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 3.5 seconds. The sports coupe comes with AMG speed sensitive steering, AMG ride control+ suspension with variable damper control, and driving modes which include Comfort, Sport, Sport+ & Individual. And for some aural bliss, you have the AMG performance exhaust system which makes you not just seen when you’re driving the S63 AMG, but even heard loud and clear.

This is a sporty version of the S-Class, and it shows in the design detailing. The S63 AMG comes with the striking Panamericana grille, large air intakes, front and side skirts, rear diffuser, 19″ alloy wheels, frameless doors, blackened roof, sunroof, carbon fibre ORVM casing, and unique OLED tail lamps along with quad exhaust pipes to finish the exterior highlights.

Inside, you had the optional Designo treatment with red seat upholstery in Nappa leather, AMG badges slapped generously, a 3-spoke steering wheel which is multifunctional, 12.3″ TFT widescreen colour instrument console, rear seats which can be accessed by sliding the front seats forward, soft closing doors, aluminium pedals, ambient lighting, and much more.

The exterior of the two-door coupe sports a new face, with the Panamericana grille and bigger air intakes taking centre stage. The low front and side skirts aid in the car’s aerodynamics, 19-inch alloy wheels come as standard and the rear of the model features a diffuser insert at the bottom and quad exhausts.
