UM Motorcycles has now been in the Indian market for quite some time, and the company claims that they have grabbed a significant amount of market share in the premium cruiser segment. Now, UM Motorcycles have launched a new electric cruiser in the country, and it is called the Renegade Thor. The UM Renegade Thor is India’s first electric cruiser and has been priced at INR 4.9 lakh.

For the first 50 customers, UM Motorcycles is planning a ride & delivery in Italy.

First things first, the UM Renegade Thor is powered by an electric motor producing 30 kW of power and 70 Nm of torque and is matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine is coupled with a hydraulic clutch and also features liquid cooling for the electric motor. UM Motorcycles have also introduced a reverse gear for the Renegade Thor for easy handling.

The Renegade Thor, in terms of size, is larger than the Renegade Commando series. The company is claiming that this electric cruiser will offer you a top speed of 180 kmph and will have a riding range of 270 km / full charge. With fast charging, you can get 0-80% charge in just 40 minutes. The Thor will be delivered to customers from end of 2018 while bookings will open from April 2018.

The UM Renegade Thor also benefits from ABS, and sports a 280mm front disc & 240mm rear disc brake. Other features include plenty of chrome, TFT instrument console, bluetooth connectivity, tan seats, LED headlamp, etc.

To add more value to this electric offering, UM Motorcycles will offer 2-year free charging for the first 50 customers of the Renegade Thor.
