Hyundai Venue SUV for India – All Details Revealed

Hyundai has today revealed all details of their upcoming compact-SUV, the Venue. The Hyundai Venue will be a sub-4 metre product which will rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. The Hyundai Venue is being marketed as the first connected SUV for our market, and it claims to come with 33 new connected features for the segment.

The Hyundai Venue comes with a total of 3 engine options:

1. The 1.0L, Kappa, T-GDI petrol engine comes with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic and manual gearbox option. This motor produces 120 PS of power, which is the maximum power output from the Venue SUV. This motor produces 171.61 Nm of torque. This engine is making a debut with the Hyundai Venue here in India, and the 7-speed DCT gearbox has been developed in-house.

2. The 1.2L petrol motor comes matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox and this block produces 83 PS of power and 114.73 Nm of torque.

3. The 1.4L diesel engine comes matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox and it produces 90 PS of power and 219.66 Nm of torque.

The Hyundai Venue compact-SUV is built using 69% Advanced High Strength Steel + High Strength Steel. The SUV measures 3995mm in length, 1770mm in width, 1590mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2500mm.
