Hyundai has revealed the Nexo Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle in India. The Hyundai Nexo is a SUV which is similar in styling like the Kona. Previously, the Hyundai Kona was rumoured to be launched in India. However, there is no concrete update about Hyundai launching an electric car in India. Earlier this month, the brand also showcased the Ioniq EV at the Auto Expo 2018.

Hyundai revealed the Nexo FCEV at the 2nd India-Korea Business Summit 2018.

This was the first time the Nexo made a debut in India. The car is powered by a 95 kW fuel cell which produces 161 HP of power and 395 Nm of peak torque. This SUV will offer a driving range of 609 km in one full charge and can sprint from 0-60 mph in 9.5 seconds.

Other features of the Hyundai Nexo include autonomous driving, blind spot monitor, lane following assistance, highway driving assistance and other standard safety equipment.

The Hyundai Nexo measures 183.9 inches in length, 73.2 inches in width, 64.2 inches in height and has a wheelbase of 109.8 inches.

Will the Nexo eventually hit the streets in India? No idea. But would you buy one if this was available at your nearest Hyundai showroom?
