Honda 0 Series Global EV concepts revealed at CES 2024

Honda has launched that the Japanese brand will be launching a new EV series in the global market. The Honda 0 Series will start debuting from 2026. Furthermore, at the CES 2024 in Las Vegas Nevada USA, Honda unveiled the two concept models – Saloon and Space-Hub. In addition to this, Honda also introduced the new H mark. Honda announced that the  new H mark will exclusively be used for Honda’s next-generation EV models.

What is Honda 0 Series?

Honda 0 Series is a new EV series that will help Honda undergo a major transformation. The 0 Series is in line with the brand’s electrification plans and represents its EV development plans. Honda 0 Series will take the new EV development to a starting point inculcating Honda’s M/M Concept, Joy of Driving and Joy of Freedom concepts. Furthermore Honda announced that starting 2026, Honda will begin introducing the Honda 0 models in North America, then to Japan, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East and South America.

Honda 0 Series – Saloon

Under the Honda 0 Series the brand introduced the Saloon concept at the CES 2024. The flagship concept model features dedicated EV architecture, low height and sporty styling. The Saloon also claims to have more space on the interiors than it looks on the outside. In addition to this a seamless UI with an human-machine interface (HMI) is the highlight of the instruments panel. The Saloon also comes with posture control and steer-by-wire technology. Honda is also integrating the original robotics technologies, with the Saloon concept.

Honda 0 Series – Space Hub

The Honda 0 Series Space Hub concept is the result of the “augmenting people’s daily lives” theme. According to Honda the Space Hub connects people to people and people to society. The Space Hub also features a flexible space and Honda’s latest technology on the interiors, realising a spacious cabin and visibility.

Honda’s Carbon Neutrality Plan

The Japanese company reveals that the Honda 0 Series aims to realize carbon neutrality for all products and corporate activities Honda is involved in by 2050. To achieve this, the brand plans to increase EV and FCEV sales ratio to 100% globally by 2040.
