Hero has introduced the new Mavrick 440 in the Indian market. Hero will announce the price of the Mavrick 440 in the coming weeks. The new product is the result of the collaboration between Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. The Mavrick 440 is Hero’s version of the Harley-Davidson X440 which made its debut in India last year. The Harley-Davidson iteration has received a very warm welcome in India and the sales numbers are doing well. With the Mavrick 440 Hero MotoCorp expects the same.
Mavrick 440 – Design and Features
The Mavrick 440 comes with a modern-classic roadster design and a torquey mid-spec engine. Hero reveals that the brand has kept in mind the booming touring segment when designing the Mavrick 440. The Mavrick 440 features a “Modern Combat” design and comes with a commanding road presence.
Hero reveals that the Mavrick 440 comes with a forward mass design with features such as wide hydro-formed handlebars and a muscular fuel tank. The brand also reveals that special attention has been given into the comfort and handling department. The brand is using high strength steel as well as 130mm of suspension travel to tackle bad terrain. Also, the seat cushioning has also been taken into account to keep long distance riding comfortable.
The motorcycle also comes with integrated telematics thanks to the e-SIM that offers Connected Features. The bike comes with 35 Connected features which also includes security features for the motorcycle. The Mavrick 440 also gets turn-by-turn navigation and phone alerts including miss call alerts and more.
Mavrick 440 – Technical Specifications
Powering the Mavrick 440 is a 440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine. The engine produces 27 Hp of power and 36 Nm of torque with 90% of the torque generating in the 2000 rpm power band. The brand has also tuned the exhaust of the Mavrick 440 to produce a “Heartbeat Thump”. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.
Mavrick 440 – Variants and Colours
Hero MotoCorp will offer the Mavrick 440 in three variants – Base, Mid and Top. The Base comes with a single Arctic White colour option. Also, the Base variant comes with spoke wheels. The Mid offer the Celestial Blue and Fearless Red colour options while the Top spec comes with Phantom Black and Enigma Black. The Top variant also gets diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Mavrick 440 – Bookings
Bookings of the Mavrick 440 will open sometime in February along with the price announcement and deliveries will commence in April.
