The new TVS NTorq 125 made it to the showrooms a few months back, and it is a very, very exciting scooter. We would stick our neck out and even say that it is the most fun scooter on sale at that price point. But now, TVS Motors have revealed something even more exciting, although not for the masses.

TVS NTorq SXR as it is called, is a race-tuned rally-spec scooter which was unveiled. This scooter was built for the 4th round of the Indian National Rally Championship 2018. This particular race-spec model comes with changes to the engines and some tweaks to other mechanical bits as well.

Powering the NTorq SXR is the same 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine, but it is now tuned to deliver 20+ BHP of power. TVS claims that this scooter can now sprint over 120 kmph. It also runs on 12″ knobby tyres to offer better grip on rough roads and comes with race tuned hydraulic suspension. TVS Racing has also developed a new air intake and exhaust system for this NTorq SXR.

Now, the NTorq in standard form is what managed to wow us to a huge extent. We only can imagine how much more fun this NTorq SXR would be to ride. If only TVS Racing would share the ingredients for this conversion, owners could have some fun. But for now, this is all we get, a few images to drool on.

As you can see, there’s team livery on the scooters, but no other change of parts.
