Harley-Davidson India has hosted the first-ever Virtual Eastern HOG rally over social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with a 6- minutes live streaming show engaging over 5.7 lakh organic viewers across these platforms. The rally was hosted by the brand’s official dealer, Bengal Harley-Davidson and the first of its kind initiative that virtually celebrated the brand’s passion for freedom, self-expression and adventure.

The Eastern HOG rally was originally planned to take place in March 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown associated with it. The Harley-Davidson conducted the 8th India HOG rally held in Goa in February of 2020 before the lockdown was implemented and witnessed 2500 riders participating in the annual celebration.

The Rally offered exciting performances by leading artists such as Ash Chandler, The Unplugged Project, Rahul Ram from the Indian Ocean, Debanjali Lily and gave the chance and gave the opportunity of experiencing Harley-Davidson lifestyle to brand enthusiasts outside the community.  At this opportune moment Harley-Davidson also virtually launched the new Harley-Davidson Low Rider S that was earlier introduced to the market through a press statement during the lockdown phase.

The Harley-Davidson Low Rider S differentiates itself by featuring a dark theme and comes with more equipment as well as sportiness as compared to the standard Low Rider. Drawing its inspiration from the West Coast Customs design philosophy the Low Rider S come with rounded LED headlamps with a headlight shroud that integrates a small flyscreen, teardrop fuel tank, single scooped seat, chopped-off fenders and a tank-mounted stacked instrument cluster.

The latest iteration in the Softtail family continues the all-black theme on the engine with machine-finished cooling fins on the cylinder banks and low-slung dual shotgun offset mufflers treated in black. The Low Rider S is powered by a Milwaukee-Eight 114 series 1868cc V-Twin air-cooled engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) that delivers 92 BHP of power and 155 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox.

The Harley-Davidson Low Rider S comes in two shades Vivid Black & Baracuda Silver and is priced starting INR 14.69 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.
