EICMA 2017 – Ducati reveals Scrambler 1100

Moving the Scrambler range a notch higher in terms of engine capacity, Ducati has now launched the Scrambler 1100. This is not just the same bike with a bigger heart, but an all-new motorcycle to appeal to the retro motorcycle loving audience.

Ducati is offering the Scrambler 1100 in 3 variants – Standard, Special & Sport.

Powering the Scrambler 1100 is a 1,079cc, L-Twin, Desmodromic distribution, 2 valves per cylinder, air cooled motor producing 86 HP of power @ 7500 RPM and 88 Nm of torque @ 4750 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper assist clutch.

Ducati claims that this bike can deliver 19.2 kmpl of mileage.

The Scrambler 1100 makes use of a tubular trellis chassis and measures 1514 mm in wheelbase, 2190 mm in length, 920 mm in width, 1290 mm in height and a seat height of 810 mm. The wet weight of the motorcycle is 211 kg.

Standard equipment on the Ducati Scrambler 1100 includes Riding Modes, Power Modes, Ducati Safety Pack (Cornering ABS + DTC), RbW, LED light-guide, LED rear light with diffusion-light, LCD instruments with gear and fuel level indications, Steel tank with interchangeable aluminium side panels, Machine-finished aluminium belt covers and Under-seat storage compartment with USB socket.

Special equipment includes Low handlebar, Front and rear aluminium mudguards, Chromed exhaust pipes, Black spoked wheels, Anodized aluminium fuel tank side covers, Double swingarm with brushed surface finishing, Dedicated seat fabric.

Scrambler 1100 Special in Custom Grey includes black spoked rims, chrome exhausts, aluminium mud guards, brushed-effect swing arm, low handlebars & gold painted front forks.

The Scrambler 1100 Sport adds Ohlins front & rear shockers, tapered bars & black & yellow livery.
