E-Class All-Terrain launched in India for INR 75 lakh

Written by Parichay Malvankar

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the E-Class All-Terrain in India. This rough road friendly station wagon has been priced at INR 75 lakh ex-showroom, and is available in a single variant. One can buy the E-Class All-Terrain in the E 220 d 4Matic trim.

Highlights about the E-Class All-Terrain primarily remain the body shell. Station wagons are still a rare sight on Indian streets, and Mercedes-Benz is offering this to a niche target audience. Also, justifying the All-Terrain badge, the user can play around the ground clearance of the car in a 35mm range electronically. Features include a bold front grille, body cladding, 19″ rims, chrome accents, silver skid plates, 40:20:40 split rear seats, and all that you would expect from a luxury car in this price range.

The AIRBODY control suspension helps in a comfortable ride, along with being capable of handling some seriously bad roads. It also gets a special specific All-Terrain transmission mode for this.
