Carberry 1,000 V-Twin motorcycle based on Royal Enfield to cost INR 7 lakh

Carberry recently announced the availability of their 1,000 V-Twin engines which could be used on Royal Enfield models. Now, the brand has revealed that they will also launch a motorcycle which will resemble the likes of Royal Enfield Classic series and it could cost in the range of INR 7 lakh.

Currently, Carberry is selling the 1,000cc, V-Twin engines for INR 4.96 lakh. The brand is trying to work things out with ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) to get the necessary approvals to launch a motorcycle, which could go on sale by early 2018.

The 1,000cc engine is a V-Twin motor with a 7-plate clutch coupled to the 5-speed gearbox and produces around 56 HP of power.

Carberry has setup a production facility in Bhilai and each motorcycle will be built by a single craftsman.
