These images have been circulated recently across social media, and plenty were confused if Delhi Police is inspired by Dubai Police by adding a Aston Martin in their patrol fleet. However, the real story is that this Aston Martin Rapide with ‘Delhi Police’ decals is meant to used as a cop car in a Bollywood movie.

This movie is a Dharma Production franchise and is going to be a series, as per a tweet by Karan Johar. The actors starring in this movie include Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandes. The teaser image released via Twitter also reveals a Lamborghini Murcielago with Indian tricolour decals.

This movie series could be a take on the popular Hollywood series ‘Fast & Furious’. But will it be as good?

Till now, looking at these pictures, plenty were questioning if Delhi Police had really added an Aston Martin Rapide to chase down criminals in the city. Following this doubt, questions were raised if anyone was trained to handle this supercar on the Indian streets.

The Aston Martin Rapide costs over INR 4 crore and is powered by a 5.9L, V12 petrol motor producing 470 BHP of power and sprinting from 0-100 kmph in under 3.5 seconds with a top whack of 330 kmph.
