BMW all-new Z4 Roadster concept marked a world premiere yesterday. This is a preview of what to expect from the production version of the new Z4. The new Z4 is much more sporty than before, and progressive in its design DNA along with being a true BMW roadster.

The new Z4 continues with the long wheelbase, low slung & stretched silhouette & a compact rear end along with a convertible top. It now has a shorter bonnet & sharp overhang making sure that the driver sits around the centre of the car. The function of rollover bars is performed by the large domes behind the cabin.

Expect the new Z4 to come with a range of 2.0L & 3.0L 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engine options and also expect a more punchy Z4 M in due course of time.

The Z4 is slated to be launched around late 2018, so there’s a lot of time to wait for this drop top. Also, for India, don’t expect it anytime before 2019.
