The wait is finally over, and the Indian two-wheeler market will see BMW Motorrad make a debut with a new entry level motorcycle. The G 310 R & G 310 GS as we know are going to be launched on 18th July 2018, and bookings are now open for both the motorcycles at all BMW Motorrad dealerships.

Ahead of an Indian debut, BMW Motorrad has added new paint schemes for the G 310 R naked / roadster motorcycle. The G 310 R now dumps the Strato Blue metallic colour and gets a new Racing Red paint scheme. Along with this, you also have HP Motorsport livery editions with ‘HP’ decals on the body. This is just a model year update, no mechanicals have been changed.

When launched, the BMW Motorrad G 310 R will face the heat from the segment benchmark, the KTM Duke 390.

Powering the BMW Motorrad G 310 R motorcycle is a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, motorcycle producing 34 HP of power and 21 lb-ft of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper assist clutch. This engine has already made a debut in India with the TVS Apache RR 310. Now we are aware that the BMW G 310 R motorcycle is built by TVS Motors here in India, hence the components and engine sharing between both companies.
