BMW launches M2 Competition for INR 79.90 lakh

BMW has launched the least expensive M performance car in India. The M2 Competition, a 2-door sports coupe has been launched in India at prices starting from INR 79.90 lakh ex-showroom. The M2 Competition is a one of a kind luxury sports sedan in the segment, no competition at all.

Powering the BMW M2 Competition is a 3.0L, 6-cylinder, turbocharged petrol motor producing 410 HP of peak power and 550 Nm of peak torque matched to a 7-speed gearbox. This is a rear-wheel drive sports sedan, so enthusiasts are surely going to love driving this one. The M2 Competition can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed restricted at 250 kmph. Of course, you get paddle shifters to have some fun.

BMW will allow customers to buy the M2 Competition in a white non-metallic and 4 other metallic colour options which include orange, silver, blue and sapphire.

The M2 Competition gets the standard M ornamentation inside out with badging, stitching and illumination. You also get sport seats, M  Seatbelts, M steering wheel, 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio, 8.8″ colour infotainment system, iDrive controller, and more.

What’s interesting though is that this car will get electronically controlled flaps for the exhaust system which will deliver a fantastic aural experience every time you revv that engine. Owners can also opt from Comfort, Sport & Sport+ driving modes in the M2.
