BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo diesel variant launched at INR 66.50 lakh

BMW has launched the 6-Series Gran Turismo with a diesel engine in India. This is the first ever 6-Series GT in diesel and the car is now available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The car is locally produced, and the 630d Gran Turismo is available in Luxury Line & M Sport trim levels.

Price List:

  • 630d Gran Turismo Luxury Line (Diesel): INR 66, 50,000
  • 630d Gran Turismo M Sport (Diesel): INR 73, 70,000
  • 630i Gran Turismo Luxury Line (Petrol): INR 61, 80,000

The 6-Series GT can be bought in white, silver, blue & red colour options. The M-Sport range comes with Carbon Black and Bluestone metallic paint options as well.

The BMW 630d Gran Turismo also comes with Remote Control parking function where using the display key, the owner can move the car out of parking sports without getting inside it. BMW claims that all acceleration and braking action is monitored via the Park Distance Control, Parking Assistant, Surround View Camera and the engine can be turned off from the remote key as well.

Powering the new BMW 6-Series Gran Turismo diesel is a 3.0L, 6-cylinder oil burner producing 265 HP of power and 620 Nm of torque allowing the car to sprint from 0-100 kmph in 6.1 seconds. The engine is matched to a 8-speed steptronic sport automatic gearbox and comes with driving modes such as sport, comfort, comfort+, eco pro & adaptive. The car rides on adaptive 2-axle air suspension with self leveling function. For the enthusiasts the motor also offers launch control as standard.
