Avan Motors ‘Trend E’ electric scooter launched at INR 56,900

A new company, Avan Motors has launched an electric scooter in India. Called the Trend E, this EV has been priced at an ex-showroom price tag of INR 56,900. This scooter also comes in a double-battery configuration which can be bought for INR 81,269. Bookings are now open for INR 1,100. The Trend E electric scooter was displayed at the EV India Marathon Summit, BV Tech Expo India 2019.

The Trend E is yet another variant to the brands Xero series of scooters.

The Xero Trend E will be sold in red+black, black+red & white+blue paint options.

The Xero Trend E comes with a lithium-ion battery and has a charge time of 2-4 hours. With a single battery setup, the scooter can run for 60 kms while with the double battery setup one can ride this thing for 110 km. The Trend E has a top speed of 45 kmph. In terms of features, the EV has telescopic front fork, coil spring rear suspension, alloy wheels, front disc brake, contoured seat, etc.

The brand claims that the scooter can carry a max weight of 150 kg.

Avan Motors at the moment has 33 dealerships across 11 states in India which includes Rajasthan, Punjab, West Bengal, Manipur, Assam, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Odisha.
