What’s new in the Audi Q8 limited edition SUV?

For starters, the SUV is offered with an option of three colours – Mythos Black, Glacier White and Daytona Grey. Furthermore, the limited edition Q8 comes with the S-line trim. This adds some sporty elements on the outside like the all-black single frame grille, roof rails finished in black, Matrix LED headlamps and more.

Audi has equipped the limited edition Q8 with 21-inch graphite grey alloy wheels.
On the inside, the car doesn’t get any unique features as compared to the regular Q8 SUV. It comes with dual touchscreens, a virtual cockpit for the driver, B&O sound system, four zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof.

Coming to the safety systems one the limited edition Q8, Audi is offering 8 airbags, ESP, Park Assist, Rear view camera and Audi Pre-Sense basic amongst others.

Powertrain of the Audi Q8 limited edition

Audi is offering its 3.0-liter TFSI turbocharged petrol engine with the limited edition Q8. This engine is paired with a 48V mild hybrid system as well. The output of this powertrain is 335 BHP and 500 Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to all the four wheels via an eight-speed gearbox and Quattro all-wheel-drive. According to Audi, this SUV will do 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and go all the way to a top speed of 250 km/h.

Audi Q8 e-tron : More Details

Audi is offering two body styles on the Q8 – SUV and Sportback. While the Sportback gets a steeply raked windscreen and boot spoiler, the SUV gets an integrated spoiler on the tailgate that sits above the rear window. Audi has also claimed a reduction in the drag coefficient from 0.28 to 0.27.

The Q8 e-tron gets the typical e-tron styling, but Audi has not gone overboard with it. It’s more of an evolution than an entirely new design. The front grille gets many sharp cuts and creases. It gets various openings for air intakes and the ends of the bumper get flared recesses. All these changes make the car appear more sporty than before. There is also the new 2D Audi logo.
